Formula D Long Beach: Round 1 “No Room for Mistakes”
Photography, Travel No Comments »Yea buddy, finally some Drifting is going on again. So we rolled into town on Thursday night all late which didn’t allow me to get a rental car. So basically, a disaster like every other trip with myself. We settled into our hotel in Long Beach and took everyone downtown to eat at the Pantry.
Friday we got to the track all nice and early and really watched everyone just let go! A new season resulted in a ton of roster changes and new cars but everyone came out with a winning attitude for 2007. I really had fun seeing everyone again and watching all the drivers preform.
Of course we brought Slide America! Here is the booth in full force.

The rest of the weekend seems like a blur. My favorite run of the weekend by far was Chris Forsberg and Haruguchi!!!! That was wild, I was standing right next to Darren from Mopar on the entry to turn two when Haruguchi knocked down 1 cone of the three on the wall. Then on the “one more time,” he just came in balls out and knocked down all 3 cones and lost his wing. That was wild and ranked on top with the Ross Petty/Sam Hubinette run from Atlanta in 2006. I cannot wait for Fight Night at Road Atlanta!
