The Kings come to do battle.
Personal No Comments »I saw the LA Kings earlier this season playing in Los Angeles against the Dallas Stars and they looked horrible. I wasn’t really expecting to see anything much better tonight at the game. Fukufuji, the Kings goalie, who is the first native born Japanese player in the NHL didn’t get off to a good NHL start and he was looking to improve. However, he was pulled before the 18:00 mark of the 2nd period when Slater scored off a deflection from Ilya Kovalchuk’s shot. Fukufuji only managed to block 6 shots before being pulled.
In other news Atlanta looked good. The game came back in the 3rd to a close 3-2 game but Atlanta ran away with it and ended up finishing 6-2 with Hossa locking in a hat trick at 18:19 in the 3rd period. It was a fun night to be in Blueland. I brought 2 friends to the game who hadn’t been since our last season spanking from Tampa Bay and they enjoyed it.
