New Site and New Blog.
Random No Comments »-Well today is probably a horrible day to start a blog but oh well. I woke up around 5pm and had a slow start to a day. We launched the Slide America teaser today which felt awesome, already on the main page of driftlive.com and tunerzine.com. I have been getting great feedback all day on the teaser, except from Jen, which is good and have been receiving a lot of good personal uplifting things.
I ran off to class late (of course) and arrived at my Concepts of New Media class. Talking with my friend Veronica today I got a good laugh. About a week ago she sent a message on facebook about how she thought this guy was cute. It was a semi kidding haha thing. Well I bolted over and smashed send before she could do anything which is typical, I seem to be always ruining Veronica’s life. I saw her today and I was like “oh, did he see your comment?” And she squints all angered like, “Yes, I saw him and class he was like oh yea I got it and smiled. WTF, he must be shy or gay, probably Gay!” Mind you, she yelled this in front of the whole class.
Currently trying to put together a few new projects but having some set backs and the propositions are quite a bit of work to piece together. In other news I played in a Party Poker tourney tonight and did rather well. It was my second time placing in the money in a large tourney. I ended up finishing 108th out of 1,790 which is pretty cool. I am starting to improve a lot, normally in that position I would have let loose and kind of went on tilt but I held it together although I really saw nothing. I ended up being somewhat short stacked and with blinds I had to push all in with a good hand. Came across J S, Q S but fell short to a guy who hit Aces I think.
That was pretty much the whole day. I really need to realize that SEMA is sneaking around the corner. It will be a ton of fun but also a work week should prove to be interesting. Hopefully the Industry provides a ton of positive feedback to Slide America and also the new look to S3 Magazine which we have been working hard on for the last couple months.
